I’m Imam Muhammad Mustaqeem Shah, based at Al Farouq Mosque in Walsall.

My hobbies include gardening, cycling, baking and reading.

One of my favourite quotes is a saying of Prophet Muhammad PBUH: “The best person is the one who benefits all human beings”.

During the lockdown, I volunteered to deliver food parcels in and around Walsall to the vulnerable people, many of whom were shielding. I also took to various online platforms to support and counsel our community by giving them positive messages of hope and spirituality.

I hope that our children will grow in a cleaner, greener, peaceful and more cohesive society where human values are respected and celebrated equally.

What a truly inspiring post, Imam Muhammad Mustaqeem Shah! It’s heartwarming to see how you supported the Walsall community during such a difficult time. Your message about building a peaceful and cohesive society really resonates. As someone passionate about helping the next generation grow with good values, I believe education plays a huge part — especially spiritual education. That’s why I’ve been exploring ways to make learning easier for young learners through Online Quran Classes for kids, which help them stay connected to their faith in a positive and modern way. Thank you for sharing such motivating thoughts!
