June sees the annual month-long celebration of PRIDE ― a chance for us all to recognise sexual diversity and celebrate the influence lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) people have had across the globe and in our own borough.
While the annual Walsall PRIDE event has been cancelled this year due to planning and fundraising difficulties as a result of COVID-19 and lockdown restrictions, here at Walsall for All we have celebrations planned throughout the month! We’ll be covering the history of the PRIDE movement, both internationally and locally, through a series of blog posts, interviews and video content as well as catching up with Walsall PRIDE to discuss their new online forum and fund raising lottery!
