Awaken Life

Written by

Tarju Le'Sano & Shauna Latty

An end to a series that has explored the dynamics of how we have all adjusted to the new realities of our society. This piece was delivered around the idea of what life will be life post lockdown and potentially post Covid-19 season. A mix of the calm stillness on the outside mixed with the exciting urge to be free!

Beauty Is You

Written by

Tarju Le'Sano & Shauna Latty

The focus of this piece was to explore exercise and how therapeutic it can be in these times. while the inspiration for this piece was fitness, it quickly formed into a piece that reflects the inner insecurities of an individual. This time has brought a focus in a lot of peoples minds about 'who are they and what is their purpose?'. The visuals behind this piece express the sense of existing while fighting this conflict inside, "showered" by other peoples perceptions of who we are, the battle between heart, mind and soul and the calm of the storm that we endure.

- From Tarju Le'Sano

In the Heavens

"This piece was inspired by memories of time spent with loved ones, walks in the park, intimate moments."

- From Tarju Le'Sano

Script for In the Heavens

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Together...

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Together...

Exhilarated is what I feel, walk in the light watching life, love in my mind.

I reminisce on the physical...

Remember our last goodbyes, forever like I dance with the thoughts.

Your voice etched in mine, our path is the world my journey who knows, my heart begins in the heavens.

Do you remember holding hands and bare laughing all day.

In the heavens...

Miss your loved ones, it's ok.

In the heavens...

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Together...

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Can we get away,

Together...

Humanities Plane Crumbles

This poem was inspired by current events, the personal conflicts and the beauty behind the veil of fear, as society adapts to change. There's so much beauty behind fear, all we have to do is take the leap, that is when we will reach happiness. In an effort to have a balanced creative response in these poems, I have asked my friend Shauna Latty to contribute to the writing process.
