Caldmore Village Festival are organising a one-day event in Walsall, which aims to value all the cultures of Walsall and provide the opportunity for communities to come together from across Walsall to celebrate diversity and the rich cultural heritage. One of the features will be a cultural village, where each of the communities will showcase their art, cuisine and traditions. There will also be a carnival element, which will include carnival workshops with all of the participating groups from Walsall in the lead up to the festival.

 

A smaller festival took place in September 2019 at Caldmore Community Garden called Taste the Cultures of Walsall. The main festival was due to take place in May 2020. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the event will now take place on 4 June 2022 (during the Platinum Jubilee weekend). To learn more, please visit the Facebook event page.
