Empowering Women Workshops

What are Empowering Women Workshops?

DWP Community Connectors, Aaina Community Hub and Walsall Black Sisters Collective organise five-day workshop programmes for unemployed women of working age in Walsall. On the programme, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Take steps to build self-confidence and self-esteem

  • Recognise existing skills

  • Identify personal and career aspirations

  • Explore entrepreneurial opportunities and much more

You can find out more about what happened at the first Empowering Women Workshop (May 2019) in our blog here

All those who complete the course will receive a free 8 inch 16GB tablet. Childcare costs and travel costs are covered. Workshops take place at Walsall College - The Hub (unless otherwise stated).
